The Minnesota State IT Conference is held every year to bring together IT professionals in higher education to network and learn from each other. The conference is typically held in-person, but due to the pandemic, the 2020 conference was canceled.

In 2021, Minnesota State University, Mankato initiated the start of a series of virtual conferences to bring people together online. In partnership with other colleges and universities across Minnesota State, half-day virtual conferences were held throughout the year.
